A few things worth knowing.

How accurate is a phone sound meter?

Readings are estimates and depend on the microphone, device and calibration. Use a reference sound level meter for calibration. This app is not a certified instrument.

Does it record conversations?

The microphone is used to calculate sound levels and frequency information. Measurement sessions save numerical readings, not audio recordings.

Can I use it for official measurements?

Use it for everyday comparisons and awareness. It does not replace certified equipment for legal, medical or workplace compliance decisions.

Which languages are supported?

English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi and Chinese. You can change the language in the app settings.
